Although well cared for mice are usually pretty healthy little creatures, there are some ailments which affect them more commonly than others. In addition to these, there are genetic (hereditary) ailments and behavioral disorders, which sometimes affect mice as well.

Getting to know symptoms of the most common ailments helps a great deal if problems arise. Being very small animals, mice can succumb to sickness quite fast, if action is not taken as soon as possible.
