The Varieties-section of the Finnmouse's Site does not present a complete list of mouse varieties, nor is it a definite guide for breeders. If you feel that something integral information is missing or that I've stated something wrong, mail me and let me know. With varieties that are not found in Finland in many occasion I have had to rely on articles available without being able to ask directly from a breeder of that particular variety. Furthermore, I am not a native English speaker so there may be some faults because of that.

From being the foundation of the whole of Finnmouse's Site in 1996, this section has grown to include articles by other authors as well. These other authors should be mentioned in the connection of each article.

I welcome all comments and personal experiences with the breeding of the varieties mentioned on these pages. There are a number of varieties currently not recognized by the Finnish Show and Pet Mice, but I am interested in them as well. Do send me information on these varieties, their genetic make up and recommended breeding for them. When I get enough information, I will put up a new page for each and every one of you to read - and hopefully enjoy & learn!

Each and every contributor to these pages will be credited.
